With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Driggers of Cobbtown, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Padgett and Inez McCullogh Padgett; her husband Jimmy Driggers; her son Tony Amerson; her brother Lucky Padgett; and her nephew Louie Lynn.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Ray Driggers of Cobbtown and James Douglas Driggers of Cobbtown; her grandson Jimmy Ray Driggers, Jr. of Collins; her great grandchild Ava Driggers; her siblings, Jimmy Padgett (Judy), Ann Lynn (Harry) and Judie Padgett; and her friend Lorrie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel (37196 GA-23, Cobbtown, GA 30420). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (401 Little Flock Church Rd, Collins, GA 30421).
