She was predeceased by: her parents, Parkey P. Payne and Dora Starley Payne. She is survived by: her husband W. H. Evans of Cochran; her daughters, Karen Evans Yoshida (Kaz) of Macon and Lynn Evans Hobbs (Ned) of Cochran; her grandchildren, Amie Yoshida, Kenji Yoshida, Morgan Adkins (Christopher) and Wesley Hobbs (Destin); her great grandchildren, William Adkins and Elisabeth Adkins; and her brother Jerry Payne (Ann) of Dallas. She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chester Baptist Church (220 Carolina St, Chester, GA 31012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Ann Payne Evans to Chester Lions Club, 268 Sam Butler Rd., Cochran GA 31014 or Chester Baptist Church, P.O. Box 306, Chester GA 31012.
