He is survived by: his wife Sallie B. Smith; his brother Wilson; and his children, Linda Smith Kijowski (Dennis) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Bill Smith (Sheryl) of Kildare, Gary Smith (Janice) of Mesa, AZ, Regena McClure of Cochran, Cindy Mangrum (David) of Fayetteville, NC, Jonathan Smith (Holly) of Kildare, Kenny Bowman (Elaine) of McRae, LaDawn Rycroft of Cochran, Wanda Howell (Emory) of Cochran and Rhonda Fordham (Philip) of Cochran. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
