She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Mitchell and Ruby Williams Lockridge; her husband Leslie Thomas Howard Sr.; her sister Gayle Mercer; and her siblings-in-law, Clarke Mercer, Ronald Embry, Wesley Whittle and Shirley Embry.
She is survived by: her sons, Leslie T. Jr. Howard (Mandi) of Kathleen and Lee Howard (Sherry) of Cochran; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Howard and A. J. Howard of Cochran; her sister Reba Daly (Paul) of Canton; her sister-in-law June Whittle of Chester; and her pet Moonshine. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
