David Farmer Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Farmer (Cochran, Georgia) is shared. David, born on January 22, 1936, passed away on October 8, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Farmer and Annie Lorina Flanders Farmer; his former wife Betty Churchwell Farmer; his wife Linda Sikes Farmer; his son Mark Farmer; and his son-in-law Everett Collins.

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Collins of Bolingbroke, Patsy Williams (Casey) of Hawkinsville and Shawn Farmer (Tonja) of Chester; and his grandchildren, Jessica NeSmith (Lamar), Brooke Long (Ashley), Cody Farmer (Macy), Jesse Farmer (Sierra), Kelsey Proctor and Tett Proctor. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (1100 Macedonia Church Rd, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
