He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Evans and Pauline Sanders Evans of Bleckley County; his brothers, Charles Tillman Evans and John Russell Evans; and his cousin Rev. Clyde Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Dennis Evans; and his daughter Leslie Michele Evans. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
