He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Cady and Laura B. Cady. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cady; his son Steven R. Cady, Jr. (Desiree); his grandchildren, Ayden Cady, Audrey Cady, Averi Cady, Bentley Cady (Blade), Ella Cady, William Cady, Zach Goltz, Devon Goltz and Cameron Goltz; his sisters, Jean Cady Ruthruff (Gordon) and Barbara Cady Clissold (Michael); and his nieces, Elizabeth Ruthruff Spires (Roger), Ashley White, Karlene White Sulser (Zach) and Jennifer Ruthruff Jones.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel (1320 N Jefferson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery (608 GA-26, Cochran, GA 31014).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Springs North Baptist Church Women on Mission Youth Ministry.
