We bid farewell to Don Henderson of Cohutta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Don touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl "Skip" Henderson and Elizabeth "Lib" Henderson; and his wife Peggy Thompson Henderson. He is survived by: his children, Steve Henderson and Donna Henderson-Maples (Kenn); his grandchildren, Brad Walker (Megan), Patrick Henderson (Aimee), Mark Henderson (Jennifer), Amanda Walker and Melissa Henderson Barajas; and his great grandchildren, Baylor Walker, Emily Barajas, Cameron Barajas, Gigi Walker, Elizabeth Henderson and Damon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cohutta First Presbyterian Church, American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
