He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Horton, Sr. and Joan Francis Bennett Horton. He is survived by: his wife Kerry Moyers-Horton. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
