With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Phillips of Cohutta, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Phillips; and her parents, Paul Smith and Edith Smith. She is survived by: her children, Bruce, Freida Phillips, Steve, Debbie Phillips and Betty Williams; her grandchildren, Joshua, Erin Phillips, Justin, Jennifer Phillips, Matt, Sarah Phillips, Amos Ridley, Susan, Jordan Keene, David and Faith Williams; her great grandchildren, Jana, Jaide, Jace, Jack, Bella, Landon, Jude, Ellie, Hank, Peter, Zeke, Hannah and Evie; her great great grandchild Everlee Drew; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Smith and Henry Sloan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to one's favorite charity in Evelyn's memory.
