It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Ensley of Cohutta, Georgia, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Ownby and Winnie Ownby; his wife Frances Ensley; and his brothers, Leon Ensley, Gilbert Ensley, Bobby Ensley and Glen Ensley.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Ensley and Brian Ensley (Rhonda); his granddaughters, Megan Ensley and Jillian Ensley; and his siblings, Ralph Ensley, Wayne Ensley, Roy Enlsey, Ernest Ensley, Jerry Ensley, Albert Ensley, Wilma Graham and Myrtle Park. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Concord Baptist Church (1054 Hopewell Rd, Cohutta, GA 30710). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 4:45 PM.
