She was predeceased by: her parents, James Love and Margie Ward; her sons, Greg and Bradley Dempsey; her sister Gail Barnett; and her aunt Jewell Ashworth.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Dempsey; her son Nathan Dempsey of Cohutta; her grandson Noah Dempsey; and her sisters, Lavada Cunningham, Diane Barnett, Laura Walker and Lisa Lynn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
