He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Tipton and Jimmie Mae Flood; and his aunt Hazel Herpka. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Tipton, Austin Luffman, Brittney Swales, Sabrina Luffman and Halley Tipton; his sister Gena Barrett (Gene); his grandchildren, Paisley Victoria, Addilyn Randi, Kallie Anne, Josh, Layla and Baby Tip; his great grandchild Lawson Howard; his nephew Jamie Barrett (Lacey); and his nieces, Nikki Gilreath (Tyler), Kala "Boss Lady" Cloer (Chad) and Kara Barrett (Justin Stafford).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
