He is survived by: his wife Peggy Brooks of Cohutta; and his children, Jason (Tracy Brooks), Anthony (Angie Brooks), Derrick (Katie Brooks), Elisha (Robert Winters) and Kelly (Daniel Glatter). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
