She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hansford and Ann West Hansford; her brothers, Phillip Hansford, Johnny Hansford and Charles Hansford; and her granddaughter Erin Chandler.

She is survived by : her husband James Edward Lawson; her daughter Marilyn Anderson (David); her grandchildren, Heather, Rachel, Haley, Chloe, Chris and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Glenn, Ella, Brady, Joshua and Izzy.
