He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Glenn Deakin (Barbara Ruth Lane Deakin) and Carla Christine Cargal (Brian). He is survived by : his wife Sherry Deakin; his children, Tyler Harry Deakin, Matthew Kent Deakin (Rachael) and Ellie Violet Deakin; and his brother Douglas Glenn Deakin (Georgia).
