He is survived by: his daughter Juanita Angela "Angie" Gantt-Perry; his grandchildren, Christopher Xavier Staples, Nicholas Jamal Gantt and Xaviera Imani Gantt; his great grandchild A'Maiya Gantt-Tilghman (A'Mirah Gantt-Tilghman); and his friend Evelene Key. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc. (1876 2nd Ave, Decatur, GA 30032).
