He was predeceased by: his parents, James Matthew Lynn and Ruby Juanette Carter Lynn; his brother Raymond Lynn; his son-in-law David Owen; and his close friend Tommy Odum.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Owen and Kaitlyn Hooten (Dewayne); his siblings, James Lynn (Sue), Janice Jarriel (Wallace) and Barbara Williams; his grandchildren, Sarah Owen, Mary Owen, Jeremiah Hooten, Zaidyn Hilz and Dewayne Hooten Jr.; and his great-nephews, John Jarriel, David Jarriel, Dorsey Williams, Brian Flanders, Mike Fox, Bryson Flanders, Bobby Solano, Matthew Solano, Andrew Solano, Coby Fox, Lou Lively, Ottie Lively, Michael Lynn, Scott Lynn, Terry Williams, Anthony Williams, Truitt Jarriel, Tyler Lynn and Raleigh Lynn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
