She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Fort and Sallie Lovette Fort; her husband Al Harrington; her daughter Debbie Griffin; her granddaughter Brandy Scott; and her siblings, Benny Fort and Ruth Edwards.
She is survived by: her son David Harrington (Angel); her grandchildren, Samantha Griffin (Richard Trevino) of Collins, Johnathan Henderson of Anderson and Nichole Jackson of Collins; and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Nicholas and Abigail. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (401 Little Flock Church Rd, Collins, GA 30421).
