She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Darden and Martha Mae McGahee Darden; her son Daniel Kersey; and her siblings, James Darden, Linton Darden, Charles Darden and Lillian Joiner.
She is survived by: her husband Benton Kersey of Collins, GA; her children, Jeremy "Shane" White (Jessica) of Soperton, GA, Brian Kersey (Melinda) of Lyons, GA, Lavada Booth of Toombs County, GA and Victoria Turner of Uvalda, GA; her sister Rosemary Lampp of Soperton, GA; and her grandson Aiden White. She is also survived by many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
