He is survived by: his children, Bernard Lynn Patterson (Gennie) of Norman Park, Renee Patterson Dean (Randall) of Apopka, FL., Lisa Patterson Rowe of Moultrie and Teresa Patterson Peterman (Donald) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Shane Dean, Monica Dean, Adam Giles (Candace), Aaron Rowe, Alex Rowe, Jessica Spradley, Jennie Holloway (Marcus), Tayshawn Peterman, Hope, Lekisha, Katie, Amiyah, Seth, Kynnleigh, Skyla, Raelynn and Kashton; his great grandchildren, Aria Dean, Tallyan Dean, Ty Giles, Mattie Taylor, Kinsley Rowe, Lily Giles, Isaac Holloway, Samuel Holloway, Cyrus Holloway and Judah Holloway; and his sisters, Mary Alice Carver of Cairo and Faye Bryant (Voncile Kearce) of Moultrie.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (9 Goff Dr SW, Moultrie, GA 31768).
