He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Arnold Wade and Lillie Mae Wade; and his brother Edward Wade (Susan). He is survived by: his siblings, Deloris Hobbs (Delwin), Sherry Wade, Jimmy Wade and Tony Flowers; and his aunt Brenda Knox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
