He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sidney Goldsmith, Jr. and Isabel Grayson Goldsmith Parish; his brothers, Thomas Courtland Goldsmith and William Douglas Goldsmith; and his stepfather Havner Hurd Parish, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Lara Allan Goldsmith Lasseter (John Randall), Julianna Goldsmith Banks (Carson) and Gabriel Thomas Goldsmith (Bailey); his grandchildren, Isabel Randall Lasseter of Columbus, Smith Greer Lasseter of Columbus, David Brooks Banks of Columbus, Houston Lee Banks of Columbus and Riggins Thomas Goldsmith of Columbus; his wife Rebecca Klein Goldsmith; and his brothers, Robert Sidney Goldsmith, III and Richard Grayson Goldsmith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Compassion International, a charity committed to advocating for children through the love of Jesus Christ, and/or The Roll Call Fund, Episcopal High School's annual fund.
