It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Altheia Rae Hancock of Columbus, Georgia, born in Albany, Georgia, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, JD Johnson and Zelma Johnson; her brother Phillip Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Lee Hinson (Lamar Hancock) and Grace Hinson.
She is survived by: her spouse Jackie Hancock; her children, Amy Wilkinson, Jeremy Hancock and Chris Hancock; her grandchildren, Caylen Hancock (Hunter), Jacob Hancock, Parker Hancock, Andrew Wilkinson, Christopher Hancock and Amber Hancock; her siblings, Patricia Rich, Nancy Hildebrand (David) and Randy Johnson (Lila); her siblings-in-law, Jan Woodham, Kelly Young (Ray), Paul Hancock and Tim Hinson; and her aunt Evelyn Hammett (Aunt Eddie). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
