He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leonard (Jerelene Huff) and Alvin. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Leonard; his children, Patrick Leonard (Jessica), Allen Leonard, Maharis Jackson (Afeon), Lamonte Jackson (Alicia) and Sonja Preer (Antonio); and his siblings, Herman Leonard (Betty), Delphine Adams (Louis) and Katina Leonard. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
