Amy Marie Whitley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amy Marie Whitley of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Amy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Amy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She is survived by: her parents, Steven Whitley and Linda Whitley; her husband David Carlson; her daughter Savannah Carlson; her brother Michael Whitley; and her pet Pippa. She is also survived by several extended family members and dear friends.

In honor of Amy's love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to the Columbus Humane Society.
