We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026, at the age of 84, Annie B. (Brimett) Anderson (Columbus, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Brimlett and Aline Brimlett; her daughter Sonya Anderson; her grandsons, Andrew and Matthew Anderson; and her siblings, Archie Woods, Kamal Sharil, Alfred Brimlett, Willie Brimlett and Aline Brimlett.
She is survived by: her husband Eddie L. Anderson; her son John Anderson (Yashica); her grandsons, Anthony M. Anderson-Dewitt, Jontavis and Jadarius Anderson; and her siblings, Johnnie Parker (Bernard), Georgia White, Marsha Campbell (Larry), Larry, Richard and Theodore Brimlett.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Progressive Funeral Home (4235 St. Mary's Road, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
