She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Cowles and Rosie Lee Joseph (Thomas); her husband Leroy Woods, Sr.; her sons, Phillip Woods, Charles Joseph and Leon Woods; and her siblings, Johnnie Mae Joseph, Charlie Garrett, Otis Cowles, Jr. and Bubba Cowles.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Arthur (Sherman) of Pooler, GA, Glenda Harris of Columbus, GA, Rose McKissic (Bernard) of Seale, AL and Leroy Woods, Jr. (Lawanda Law); and her siblings, Jessie Mae Preer, Bessie Lee Jackson and Cecil James Joseph of Phenix City, AL. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
