He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brown and Dema Brown; and his sister Laura Faye Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Dana Laughlin (Burt) and Scott Brown. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
