She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Cobis and Elizabeth Cobis. She is survived by: her former husband Tim Bierenfeld; her daughters, Katie Meza (Alex) and Sarah Rose Hasslinger (Dave); her grandson Giovanni Meza; her siblings, Mary Ellen Taylor (David), Catherine Bradshaw, Ann Sutlive, Petra Raville (Bill), Monica Cobis, Martha Simmons (Pat) and John Cobis; her child Pulmonary Vein Stenosis; and her great-niece Josephine. She is also survived by her 11 nephews, 8 nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's honor to the Lady Josephine Foundation.
