It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benita W. Witt (Columbus, Georgia), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Idella Weininger and Edwin Weininger; and her sister Shelly Weininger. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Witt (Mickey); her daughters, Michelle Faircloth (Rodney) and Kim Overstreet (Jim); her granddaughters, Ragan Faircloth, Sarah Carlisle Overstreet, Riley Faircloth and Mary John Overstreet; and her sister Gail Niles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Paul and Miriam Witt Family Scholarship Fund at Columbus State University or Shearith Israel Synagogue.
