She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Lee and Mattie Pearl Sanks Kendrick; her children, Batrice Harris and Benny L. Harris III; and her brother Lorenzo Kindrick.

She is survived by: her husband Benny L. Harris II; her grandchildren, Tyeshia, Amber, Aeriel, Maya Harris, Derrika Short and Joshua Harris; her siblings, Johnny Kindrick (Berdie), Brady Kindrick, Mable Kindrick, Cynthia Edwards (Darnell) and Tammy Kindrick; her uncles, Richard Sanks and C. Reese; her aunt Marguerite Norris; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Kindrick, Eva Burns (Jimmy), Nadine Harris and Francine Ferguson (Lonnie); her godmother Annie Askew; and her goddaughter Kennedi Lowman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
