With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ann Garrett of Columbus, Georgia, born in Fort Gaines, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Jones and Irma Jones. She is survived by: her sons, Rob Garrett (Gloria) of Columbus, Ward Garrett (Lisa) of Columbus and Tim Garrett of Atlanta; and her brother John Robert Jones (Bob) of Columbus. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
