With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Glisson of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on October 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. S. Reeves and Addie B. Davidson Reeves; her husband Bobby F. Glisson; her son Mark R. Glisson; and her siblings, Travis Samson Reeves, Jean Taylor, Mary Helen Vann, Peggy Wilhelm and Glenda Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Glisson Jordan (Ronnie) of West Point, GA and Mike Glisson (Susan) of Dadeville, AL; her grandchildren, Justin Jordan of West Point, GA, Reeve Glisson of Columbus, GA, Kendall Lilly (Andrew) of Decatur, AL, Tanner Glisson of Jacksonville, AL and Garrison Mitchell of Dallas, TX; her great grandchildren, Wade Lilly of Decatur, AL, Banks Lilly of Decatur, AL and Ella Lilly of Decatur, AL; and her sister Sue Stiner of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
