It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Holcomb of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Hodges and Merle Hodges; and her husband Robert Holcomb. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Lucas (Paul) of Columbus, GA, Tammy Davis (Jason) of Jasper, GA and Mandi Guthrie (Billy) of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Lauri Odum (Chuck) of Phenix City, AL, April Solis of Columbus, GA, Brandon Holcomb (Tamalyn) of New Braunfels, TX, Trey Guthrie (Kaila) of Columbus, GA and Tyler Guthrie of Columbus, GA; her great grandchildren, Lilly Wing (Cody) of Columbus, GA, Elisabeth Holbrook of Columbus, GA, Helena Holbrook of Columbus, GA and Cierra Solis of Columbus, GA; and her great great grandchildren, Jasper Tinnin and Bryn Holcomb.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
