She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Hutto and Lula Pilcher Hutto; her husband William Leon Phillips (Bill); and her siblings, Edra Pope, Delora Dickey, Basil Hutto and Linah Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Phillips (Juliet) of Ashville, AL, Wayne Phillips of Columbus, GA and Lynn Yarborough of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Emily Yarborough of Smyrna, GA, Kyle Phillips of Pendleton, SC and Marisa Smith (Dylan) of Grantsville, UT; and her sister Deanie Wells of Buena Vista, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
