We are sad to announce that, on June 17, 2018, at the age of 89, Beverly Smith Taylor (Columbus, Georgia), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clee C. Smith and Los Angeles; and her uncle Edward Henry. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Elizabeth A. Taylor (Beth) of Columbus, Howard Earl Taylor of Winston-Salem and John David Taylor of Carbondale; her children, Elizabeth Shield-Taylor of Aspen and Noel Juliet Shield-Taylor of Aspen; her significant other Patricia Hill; Walker Watkins, Perry Watkins, Clifford Watkins, Sam Stratford and Miss Claire.

According to her interests, the family will appreciate donations to the Historic Columbus Foundation (P.O. Box 5312, Columbus 31906), The Columbus Museum (1251 Wynnton Road, Columbus 31906) or PAWS Humane (4900 Milgen Road, Columbus 31907).
