He is survived by: his wife Laura Malloy Sartin; his sons, William Thornton Dixon Sartin and Noah Patrick Sartin (Terrell); his grandson Wyatt Dixon Sartin; and his caregivers, Sandra Fuller and Kacie Ragsdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Bill's wish was that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
