It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby L. Johnston of Columbus, Georgia, born in Pathfork, Kentucky, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Johnston and Lassie Johnson Johnston; and his brothers, Jerry Johnston, Eddie Johnston and O'Neil Johnston.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Brescia; his daughter Julie J. Holloway (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jessica, Leslie, Aiden, Kyle and Victoria; and his siblings, Sherry Maxwell, Joyce Schaub (Don), Jean Porter, Jan Miller, Wayne Johnston (Glenda), Bill Johnston (Margie), Mack Johnston (Jane) and Jawanna Jackson (Steve).
