It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Joyce Duncan of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Paul and Dorothy Alma Jones; and her brother Henry Eugene Jones. She is survived by: her husband Larry H. Duncan; her children, Lynn Goree (Chuck) and Jason Duncan (Sarah); her grandchild Russell Kelly; her siblings, Thomas E. Jones (Linda), Pauline Wiliams, Patricia Grover, Sanford Jones and Larry Jones (Kathy); and her sister-in-law Glenda Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hear the Crys of the Children (orphanage for girls) or Mercy Ships at mercyships.org. (http://mercyships.org.). Contributions can also be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church and those contributions will be sent to Hear the Children Cry or Mercy Ships.
