He is survived by: his wife Kathy Stevens; his children, Bethany Fields (Matt), Jason Wetzstein (Diana) and Trent Lawrence (Melissa); his grandchildren, Mason Fields, Daniel Fields Kyleigh Wetzstein and Brooke Wetzstein; his sister Mena Lunsford (Charles); his uncle Dalton Jacobs; his aunt Linda Thrasher; his mother-in-law Susan Nutter; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea White (Pete), Sherri Stansbury (Jeff) and Stephen Nutter (Christi).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bruce may be sent to Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers, Shriners, or the Aflac Cancer Center.
