We are sad to announce that, on March 24, 2026, at the age of 82, Burnet R. Quick of Columbus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Burnet Quick and Gladys Parker Quick; his sister Beverly Quick Kearney; his cousin Peggy Wilkinson Virski; his aunt Ginger; and his uncle Len Preston.

He is survived by: his wife Frances McDonald Quick; his children, Shannon Reid Quick of Columbus and Jeffery Wade Quick of Atlanta; his daughter-in-law Amanda McAvan Quick; his grandchildren, Parker Moseley Quick and Lacey Rose Quick; and his sister Mary Reid Flukinger of Columbus. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, The Historic Columbus Foundation or Marion Military Institute in Marion, AL.
