She was predeceased by: her significant other Daniel W. Atkins; and her parents, Mildred Huff and Bill Bonner. She is survived by: her daughter Lea Carol Atkins; her brother Richard Bonner; and her nieces, Beverly Head and Melissa Koslow.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fisher Chapel (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association in Carol's name.
