With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Louise Ashcraft of Columbus, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Dean Ashcraft. She is survived by: her sons, Lance "Andy" Ashcraft (Lisa) of Fortson, GA and James David Ashcraft (Eddie Kay) of Smith Station, AL; her sisters, Betty Lightfoot (Hank) of Vancouver Washington and Sarah Erskine of Homestead, FL.; her niece Maria Griffis; her nephew John Restrepo; and her grandchildren, Kayla Nelson (Josh), Haley Myers, David Ashcraft (Kerri), Megan Ashcraft, Abbie Ashcraft, Aeriell Ashcraft and James Hopkin.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (212 12th St, Columbus, GA 31901).
