She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Catherine Lowery and J. R. Lowery Sr. Christine; and her grandson Duane Turner. She is survived by: her sister Diann Shelley (Lynn); and her children, Leo Valero (Margo), Joseph Valero (Emily), Jason Valero (Lisa) and Kathy Valero. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew, and friends. multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephew, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fisher Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
