He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clarence Koon and Ila Pearl Johnson; and his wife Joyce T. Koon. He is survived by: his children, David T. Koon (Betty), Denise K. Johnson (David) and Keith R. Koon; his grandchildren, Brian Koon (Jenny), Ben Koon (late Laura), Carter Johnson, Walker Johnson and Mack Koon (Alexa); and his great grandchildren, Hudson Koon, Bryson Koon, Clyde Koon and Landon Koon.
