She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Brescia; her parents, Dr. William J. Childs and Mamie M. Childs; her sons, Bill and David Brescia; and her sisters, Tressie Carter, Dot Wolf and Anne Griggs.

She is survived by: her daughter Becky Johnson; her children-in-law, Joe Johnson and Debbie Brescia; her grandchildren, Jody, Jeff, Mark Johnson, David Brescia Jr. and Becca Brescia-Brooks; her great grandchildren, Will, Chase, Emma, Turner Johnson, Betsy, Benjamin Brescia, Tatum, Conner and Adrianne Dobbins; and her great great grandchild Kayden Dobbins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
