She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ramsey and Annie Slaughter Ellison. She is survived by: her children, Aaron N. Brown, Lisa Bledsoe, Debbie A. Manghan Sherry Summers (Carlton) and Latoya Brown-Turner (Khalil); and her siblings, Otis Slaughter (Betty), Nathanel Ellison, Willie Ellison, Annie Sales, Gloria Johnson, Eunice Barlow and Joann Ellison. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
