Curtis Edward Rogers Obituary

He is survived by: his parent Orelia Rogers Williams; his stepfather Luke Williams; his aunt Catherine Rogers Woodard of San Jacinto, California; his uncles, Douglas Edward Rogers Sr. (Jesse) of Columbus and Rev. Jerome Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia; his nephew Lavelle Williams of Los Vegas, Nevada; and his close friend John Williams of Carson. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

Curtis professed Christ to be his personal savior and was a member of Hollywood United Methodist Church at a period during his Christian walk and he was also a devout member and volunteer in the Salvation Army ministry and charity campaigns. During the Christmas season, Curtis could be seen as a representative of the Salvation Army in military type attire towing a bell as an effort to solicit financial donations to support those in need.
