We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2025, at the age of 43, Daniel Robert McCourt Jr. of Columbus, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lisa Elaine Barrett Davis; his grandfathers, Homer Lee Barrett, David McCourt and David Thompson; and his uncle Mark McCourt.
He is survived by: his father Daniel Robert McCourt, Sr. of Butler, GA; his siblings, Travis Daniel of Cataula, GA, Hiram Davis of Dalton, GA, Charles Lee Barrett Davis of Dalton, GA and Samantha Daniel of Alabama; his grandmother Sandra Thompson; his aunts, Miranda Barrett Key and Rebecca Thurmon; his uncle Shawn McCourt; and his nieces and nephews, Rylee and Gavin Daniel (Susan Mitchell) of Alabama.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Way-Watson Funeral Home (1052 Dr Deryl Hart Rd, Buena Vista, GA 31803). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Tazewell Cemetery.
